Bastrop Youth Football Organization is a non-profit organization working towards the positive growth and development of our community's children. Established in April 1997 and a current member of the Bastrop Chamber of Commerce, BYFO works with children ages 4 to 18 from Bastrop and surrounding areas in order to foster a keen sense of team work and self confidence. Families from Cedar Creek, Coupland, Elgin, Giddings, Smithville, Paige, La Grange, Lockhart, Manor, Rockne, Rosanky, and even Austin, have been bringing their children to Bastrop to play football and participate in cheer leading for over ten years. An average of 300 children play football, flag football, or are cheerleaders with BYFO every year. BYFO offers summer camps, play-off events, and many other family fun filled times.As an organization, BYFO believes strongly in community and family. BYFO provides both community involvement and support. We make it a point to purchase our supplies from local companies whenever possible and encourage the families of our players to do the same. Every child has the right to participate, learn and grow through organized sports, and we do our best to make that a reality for every child who wants to play or cheer.Parents and volunteers run every facet of Bastrop Youth Football Organization. We depend on them for everything we do; from coaching, field maintenance, fund raising, serving on our Board, providing financial support and even to provide enthusiastic cheering section for the players and cheerleaders. Without the parents and the volunteers there would not be a football organization as dedicated to family and community as BYFO. Newcomers to BYFO will find an open organization where everyone is encouraged to attend our monthly board meetings and there is always plenty of work to be done

BYFO is currently planning our  2015 season,  It is now time for us to reach out to our community and ask for your support. To those who have supported us in the past, we sincerely offer our thanks and hope that you continue to do so.
